Kakigori is a traditional Japanese dessert. Essentially, it’s a pile of thinly shaved ice on which you add sesame green tea or fruit. Other toppings such as red beans, whipped cream, condensed milk, and mochis can also be added to kakigori. While this dessert has been around a long time, it was reserved for Japanese aristocracy in the past. Now, people luckily get to have this dessert in different dessert places in Japan or at Snow Cake.
